There is a 2330 departure from Skegness bus station (another ride on the 3) and by the book having allowed the five minutes connection time from 2325 we must use it.

Indeed there is....

We next board the 2330 Stagecoach in Lincolnshire service 3 to Ingoldmells (Anchor Lane) that arrives there at 2349 on Wednesday evening.

We have about an hour to explore this settlement, with its Grade 1 listed Church, before we return to the bus stop for our onward travel. We continue on the 11:25 Grayscroft Coaches service 1 and alight at Saltfleetby (Prussian Queen) arriving at 11:45 on Thursday

In real life, I have visited this area many years ago when I was tracing the route of the railway coastal loop line and like many areas on the east coast of Britain in Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Suffolk, many settlements have the parish name affixed to them as a suffix, such as Theddlethorpe All Saints and Theddlethorpe St Helen.

We note that the Call-Connect onward services available cannot be used as there is a minimum 2-hour telephone booking requirement and by that time, a service bus would had already have been here. Therefore there is naught to do but to take advantage of the time period afforded to examine this area until it is time to board the 1325 Grayscroft Coaches service 1 to Louth bus station that arrives there at 1355 on Thursday afternoon.

To kill some time we take the Kier Louth Nipper service 40 at 1420 and ride all the way round its circular route, arriving back at Louth Bus station at 1445 Thursday afternoon

Please feel free to shout HOLD but it appears to be within the rules

RESUME

I have now amended my posting to a 15:32 arrival. I was originally going to post the destination as Grainsby (Cross Roads) which is the one with the 15:25 arrival time, but them changed my mind, but then mis-read my notes when I made my posting...
Thank you sir.

In fairness it's not just you. As you can see on the Closed Stations Journey Quiz I seem to be a little lost somewhere in West Yorkshire. :|

A brief pause between journies allows us to study the timetables for the area. We continue on the 07:57 EYMS 246 service to Hull Interchange arriving at 08:27 on Friday morning.
