Just a quick heads up for anyone interested. I have just published a V1.1b update of the Edinburgh to Glasgow scenery extension via the Steam Workshop. My workshop page can be found by clicking here or via the TS2014 in-game Workshop.

On subscription to the route, the download and installation should take place automatically. As the route is a clone of the original, this is listed separately in your route list with a prefix of [DPS] and your original route will be untouched.

The following are the changes currently present in the latest version....

Scenery added between Larbert and Stirling.
Scenery added around the South Gyle area.
Slateford extension added, with full prototypical track and signalling added as far as Kingsknowe, scenery placed as far as Slateford Viaduct.

More information can be found via the following links:

I have also attached some screenshots for anyone not wanting to visit the blog.

Good to see people releasing routes on Steam - I always find the UKTS packages too complex to install!

Which line is the City Lines route (loosely) based on?

Looks good, nice to see extensions to the paid downloadable content routes.

Having recently bought TS2014 and WCML North, I am massively impressed with the rolling stock, the detail of the route and its wide coverage - all that's needed are some 314/318/320/334 EMUs and hours and hours of fun driving prototypical commuter services around Glasgow and Lanarkshire could be had. The Cathcart Circle and extending the low level to Anderston would be a nice extension I reckon (Dalmuir would be good but maybe overstretching it a bit).

The 318 is available as freeware from UK Train Sim.
