Passed tests with Southern today, got DM interview tomorrow

I know two people who have got through to the CBI, so don't see what the meeting is about

Wasn't it to finalise training course start dates?!?! That's only what I've heard on here though!!

It's all rather confusing isn't it!!

Maybe I should have probed them further when I called...but surely if some have gone through to the CBI then Southern have made their mind up already so why not let the other candidates know they were unsuccessful?

The two that have had their CBI already will probably be starting on the September course, don't forget that there's the one in November and apparently one in October too!! Fingers crossed we will hear something this week!

I very much doubt there will be a course in October, if there is it will be a delayed September course. We've got five moving/leaving Victoria so plenty of vacancies

How long have they known about those five Paul? We were told at interview that only four positions were available! If the five have only just become apparent, maybe that would explain the delay in us all being contacted as they've had to reassess things?

Hi mate

I had my DM interview on friday 4th October at Victoria Station. Was really nervous on the day but both managers put me ease. They started off with asking questions about me and finding out about my experiences.

They then asked what I know about the company. They then moved onto criteria based questions, what you did in an emergency, tell a time when you followed rules and regulations, when you dealt with a irate custmoer and how you dealt with it. They were supposed to ask 7 criteria based questions but only asked me 5 as my examples fell into the other questions.
