Oh yes sorry aced1, I did the afternoon assessment how about you? I am fairly confident about the two further tests but looking at the various posts on the subject of the interview not looking forward to what I expect to be a gruelling interview.

Yes also did the afternoon assesment, yes same as yourself really. If fortunate enough to get to the structured interview, we are in for quite a grilling i believe we are in for a grilling.

Hello everyone,

I never heard back after applying so it's safe to assume that I've been unsuccessful this time round.

Anyway, all the best to everyone who are going through the assessments and I hope they all go very well for you!

For your information, I kept the full original job advert in Word (.docx) format and the sample learning contract (.pdf) which I'll just leave attached here for your reference.

All the best! :D

I'm going to Doncaster on 11th Oct for part 2, pretty nervous/excited! Anybody in the same boat? Any tips on what to expect for part 2?

Hi mate, got my stage 2 on the 7th october, the 2 tests i think will
be passable, its the structured interview which will
be the tough part.

Yeah I agree, not too worried about the 2 tests, going to get researching some questions they might ask. You'll have to post how you get on, give me a bit of a heads up. Good luck for the 7th!

Did anyone here do the testing at Donacaster on tuesday?

Yeah mate I did, not sure if it was the only one that day but mine was the afternoon. First time I've ever done the test and i think I done well to be honest. Fingers crossed and good luck to all involved

Dear all I have applied for the driver operators role for db schebker at Doncaster depot can any one help me with further information.

I would like to know more of what the role involves and also of the length of training for the depot at Doncaster
I addition to this does anyone have any information on rosters and roster patterns at Doncaster or knottingley.

I look forward to your replies.

There is hope yet for those who have had no response to applications!
I applied in the middle of August and today I got my invite to attend assessment on the 29th. This was the first time I have had any correspondence from them.

I wouldn't have thought anything had changed. I have passed mt4, glop, bourdon, dials with a toc. So straight to stage 2 for me.

Talks are 'ongoing' based around productivity / retention package.

Basically, drivers want GB wages with DBS conditions - management want DBS wages with GB conditions.

Best of luck with that!

I would imagine Schenker are cheaper than the competiton if they have the same policy as they do for road freight exports to Europe, ideal if you dont care when the cargo gets to the destination, this business model may lead to low overheads such as wages maybe

For me badly I really mucked up the reaction test and didn't pass it so did not get interviewed. One of my lives gone and now have to wait 6 months before can apply again to a TOC/FOC. I really hope the others did a lot better than me. Good luck to those of you yet to take the second assessment day.

Thanks Paddy O'Doors, just need to make sure I learn from the experience and practice like hell for the new tests nearer the time.
