It's a shame that Central trains won;t be around when they come off lease. A train that bursts into flames so often would be great for their regular Sunday BBQ's

I heard they are staying with fGW now the ROSCO has reduced the lease price. What ever happens they will deffo stay with a first group TOC as first group financed them themselves for fNW services...

Everyone seems to have a variety of ideas for the 180s, personally I think TPE should use them for Manchester - Glasgow/Edinburgh!

FGW had 10 sets in store until their refurb programme which they own themselves if I'm not mistaken.

First Group (as opposed to FGW) had 5 sets which they bought some time back which have been refurbed and put back into use with FGW. The other sets have come from various sources, such as the two former Cotswold rakes and various coaches/power cars out of store.
