Bluebell 125 Gala

The Bluebell Railway was holding a gala to mark the 125th Anniversary of the line from Lewes to East Grinstead being built. My pics include;

Recently overhauled SECR C class no. 592
Met Railway no. 1 and Sir Berkerley visiting
West Country's 21C123 Blackmoor Vale and 34028 Eddystone
Terriers nos. 55 Stepney and 672 Fenchurch
SECR O1 no. 65,
SECR H class no. 263 (on display outside loco shed)
4MT tank no. 80151
Southern U class no. 1638
GWR Dukedog no. 9017
and some other bits.

Loads of brilliant photos there CraigS... Always difficult to get good photos with so many people milling about :)

I've also uploaded a whole pile of photos taken yesterday at the Bluebell 125 :)

As always, thoughts, comments, points of technique, etc, etc are always most welcome.

Your photo of Met 1 is the best in my opinion. Was difficult to get a photo of this loco as it wasn't in the best placed and all the people getting in the way. Nice selection of pic you have too haloatco.:)

Lovely photos from all concerned... We really should make an effort to get together for a coffee sometime at one of these events :)

I always find that a combination of long lenses, short lenses and a lot of patience helps at these sort of things... That and trying to find a new take on familiar shots as well :)

Great shot of the Voyager Ron.... Living in Guildford, I find it is about the only interesting thing (and that is used loosely) that arrives there other than the odd steam special.
