Trenhotel - wifi? Power sockets?

We will be travelling Tourist Class on Trenhotels Paris - Barcelona, Madrid - Lisbon and Lisbon - Hendaye next month.

Can any body say whether wifi is available on these trains? If so is there a charge?
Do the 4 berth cabins have power sockets?

Any other tips?

I went on the Paris-Madrid service in April (reclining seat rather than a berth) and there was no wifi or power sockets.

Yes people rant on about European trains how they are so much better. I find when travelling in France or Italy etc there is never any wifi or at seat service, EVEN in first class. Even the Eurostar doesn't have wifi. Shocking !

Give me EastCoast or Virgin any day .

I imagine there are several problems that would prevent Eurostar having wifi, for instance the 20 minutes it spends in a giant tunnel.

I hope HS2 gets leaky feeders.

But HEX Is a tunnel no with wifi and cellphone available throughout ?

I understand ch tun is deeper etc with with calling not impossible ?

Anyway regardless of that, if they provided wifi throughout the journey EXCEPT the 20 mins it spends in the tunnel it would be a huge improvement.

Can't remember, but might the shaver socket actually be a standard "continental" socket which won't take a UK shaver but will take the usual adaptor? Certainly pretty common practice on the mainland!

Really? I don't I have been on a long distance Italian train without plug sockets in at least first class, and high speed trains have free wifi. Even some regional trains have plug sockets here.

I read that you need an Italian phone number to activate the wifi on Italian trains. Do you know differently? We are slumming it in second class.
