Galatea to King's Lynn today

Anyone shed any light on what Galatea is up to today? Seems to be running with ECS to King's Lynn off Carnforth.

It is then showing as one of the possible locos for the first southbound S&C run on Wednesday.

I've heard elsewhere that it was hauling the Queen of Scots set today with a couple of extra Pullman coaches.

King's Lynn is the HQ of the Railway Touring Company - no idea whether that is relevant though!

The chap who owns/runs the Railway Touring Company has ran a few private charters in the past, starting from Kings Lynn, probably near where he lives.

An example was this tour, using 46115 Scots Guardsman, which I think took place on the occasion of his 70th birthday:

I just happened to be at Ely station that day (hunting diverted HSTs) when the special called in on the return leg.

This would probably be another such occasion. And fare-dos to him as well. He gets to travel round in his own private train, and we all get to see a super locomotive (generally one that does not get around as much as others) and some really old coaches doing what they were built to do.

Iv been unable to find a loco move to Kings Lynn to pilote the ECS back. As fair as I am aware 45699 will lead the train back.

According to UKsteam yesterday the move was D+E+ECS, now it's just shown
as E+ECS
