£83.40 Saver Return.

£58 is the cheapest accoring to thetrainline. Leave 0935, Return 1955 buying 2 advance singles. That should cover both of you, I think.

Hope I've helped.

PS. All these tickets are not open, ie you must travel on these services with no refunds of changes permitted.

None available at all, sadly. I still think £58 for two people return on that journey isn't bad, though. Book quickly, though.

Those are the cheapest fares I could find, there may be cheaper ones but I doubt it. It's the return journey that's coming in quite expensive. If you were a bit more flexible, there might be more cheap tickets available before 1900 and after 2000; I didn't check those ones.

I checked, and the earliest you get it down outward was 1130 off Leicester, and much later on the return, and the saving was only about a fiver!

I checked combo CDRs but there doesn't appear to be anything I'm afraid!

Depends what your trips for. If you dont mind messing about a bit a Saver to Bedford £21.30 valid on the 09.05 onwards then a walk to Bedford Tourist Information Centre (about 1/2 mile) to purchase a First Capital Connect Daysave will give you unlimited travel on the ex thameslink network for £11 per person. A total of £64.60 but gives you freedom of thameslink right down to Brighton. There is an evening restriction up to 19.00 on the London to Bedford Section.
