Looking at a trip from Weybridge to London Paddington on Sunday, and National Rail recomends I buy a £14 Super off peak travelcard, so I have a couple of questions.

1) Are there any time restrictions on this?
2) What is it's validity and where is it valid too?
3) Between Victoria and Paddington, would you recomend Victoria and Bakerloo or Circle line?

1) Not at weekends, no.
2) Valid for one return journey from Weybridge to the zone 6 boundary, and unlimited journeys anywhere within Zones 1-6 on National Rail, Tube, DLR and tram, and on all TfL buses (including beyond zone 6). Not valid to Heathrow by rail, or between St Pancreas Int and Stratford Int.
3) I'd recommend the 36 or 436 bus. By tube, Victoria+Bakerloo will be quicker.

brfares is your friend.

2) What is it's validity and where is it valid too?

Valid for unlimited journeys anywhere within Zones 1-6 and one return journey between Weybridge and the boundary of Zone 6. Permitted routes between Weybridge and the boundary of Zone 6 can be determined by taking any permitted route between Weybridge and any station within Zones 1-6 in your case and the route must pass through Surbiton.

Do you have a specific route in mind?

3) Between Victoria and Paddington, would you recomend Victoria and Bakerloo or Circle line?

Vicky and Baker is a cross-platform interchange at Oxford Circus, whereas Circle Line only runs every 10 minutes, so the choice is obvious.

The route I planned on taking to Victoria is Weybridge to Clapham Junction, Clapham Junction to Victoria, haven't planned on the cross central london bit.

1) On a Sunday, there are no time restrictions.

2) I think it will include the whole of Zones 1-6 including buses. If you are only travelling to or from Paddington and have a PAYG Oyster card, buying a return only to Victoria or Waterloo and using your Oyster on the Underground may be cheaper.

3) The Bakerloo is direct from Waterloo to Paddington. Personally I think the cross platform interchange at Oxford Circus is quicker than the long journey round the Circle via Gloucester Road, but it may depend on time of day.

If you don't actually need to travel via Victoria, then you could also consider taking one of the slower trains and change at Vauxhall for the Victoria line - saves a lot of messing around.

I will consider that on the return journey, am planning to go to Victoria first though due to the fact that it involves a change at Clapham Junction, and I have never been there.

Traveline suggests the quickest and simplest route as catching the train from Weybridge to Wimbledon and then the District line to Paddington.
