Favourite/Worst Northern Rail served stations

Burnley Manchester Road station. At least when you're there, you know your means of escape should be on the way...

Aren't there plans to improve Burnley Manchester Road including adding a ticket office as part of the Todmorden Curve project?

Worst: Hatfield and Stainforth, basic and very bad station in bad area at end of long lane

Best: Dewsbury, slightly nicer than Huddersfield, also has pub on it

I know there were plans to redevelop this station. Not sure what the state of play is now though: it appears to have been scrapped, at least for the time being:

The initial plans were, I believe, intended to incorporate the existing buildings on site but this was scrapped when they were discovered to be unsuitable.

Really? Huddersfield has 2 pubs at the station.
