Looks like Stena have introduced RailSail fares on the Liverpool (Birkenhead) ~ Belfast route. These will probably be aimed at the North of England market but I was pleasantly surprised to see fares & times in my Avantix to/from Scottish destinations. The usual combination of peak/off peak & advance/standby were offered.

Sorry if this is not news but it's the first time I've seen this route advertised for RailSail. All we need now is for rail staff passes to be accepted & we're off!

Do any of these Sailrail prices give discounts for YP/DSB/Family railcards? Not mentioned on the site that I can see so I assume not....

Thanks as ever

Dover - Calais - (YP, DSB, SNR)

Ayr - Belfast (YP, SNR)

Don't no about HMF or FAM, but otherwise I think that's correct.

I sailed Liverpool Belfast in Feb (using advance tickets), they are spending a lot of Money improving the ferries. What was vey good is that you can board the ferry aroun 8.30pm have a beer & chips or a meal even though the ferry does not sail until c 10.30pm.

You can also book these new rail sail tickets on the Stena Website/ Rail sail, they recently emailed me, Copy of email below lots of departure points including Swindon!
