I wasnt looking forward to a 150 Cardiff to Fishguard but it wasnt too bad. Was an ex-Anglia unit now with the 2+2 seating, the odd table AND an at-seat trolley

Normally formed of one of the two class 150's which works the 09:42 Bridgend - Cardiff Central via Barry service which arrives into Cardiff Central at 10:39.
The other unit forms the 10:51 Treherbert service which runs via the City Line waiting for 12 minutes then at Radyr.

Now formed off 09 40 from Ebbw Vale. On odd occasions a Pacer has been known to work it, not very comfortable on the return if there has been a rough crossing across the Irish Sea.
Well, I guess I must have been very lucky to have had a 158 on more occasions than a 150 when using this service!
In fact, the first time I've had the pleasur eof a 150 was last week! Inf act,d espite my earlier post, I have had three instances of a 158, I forgot about one trip from Cardiff to Llanelli, which was in addition to my two journeys to Fishguard Harbour!

It was booked for a 158 in the very historical past before 175s appeared on Manchester to Cardiff/West Wales Diagrams and again during last Summer only when you would probably have travelled on it.
Yes, I did travel twice last Summer, so that explains it!
Speaking of the historical past, I remember using it in 2002 when it was the loco hauled set.
