Sorry to have been so long in answering your query above, but I have had to delve quite deeply into the matter of Flemington that you quote above.

The line that we are on at present is the Caledonian Railway main line. Eventually, I did trace a Flemington station, but this was on the Caledonian Railway operated Hamilton and Strathaven Railway and was opened as a terminal station, but this became a goods station and not subject to passenger usage when a new passenger station called Strathaven North was opened in November 1904. What was once Flemington station but then only a goods station was closed in 1964.
