I know theres a thread somewhere as i searched it found it, but its closed. Not only that the links in it no longer exist.

Does anyone have anywhere online where proposed changes to transpennine are set out? in 2014, but also has anything actually been said about after the ordsdall curve or indeed electrification.
I know previously on the thread its been mentioned about frequencies including a Selby terminator and stuff like that. Any help appreciated, this is for a uni project of mine.

I think that jcollins may be your best bet here - I think the plan was for a fifth path through Huddersfield but am sure he can confirm :)

Hope that they do something with the Glasgow service as saw one last night and it was packed going northbound .Perhaps they will add a couple of extra services when the new units arrive.

They are adding a few services, as well as a slight increase in capcity with a change from a 3 car 185 to a 4 car 350. Its hoped there will be room for 8 cars in some places i believe. Saw something in a document i was reading today saying passengers on Manc-Scotland had tripled.

I don't think you can be sure of much more than the dates in the NR CP5 plan.
That is Dec 2016 for NW electrification, Ordsall Curve, plus a variety of smaller schemes (eg Huyton Stage 2, Man Airport 4th platform etc).
Then Dec 2018 for TP electrification and the rest of the Northern Hub (Piccadilly, Oxford Road, Chinley, Dore etc).
Looks like Manchester-Stalybridge and Leeds-York/Selby wires might be up by Dec 2016, Leeds-Hudderrsfield by Dec 2017, Stalybridge-Huddersfield by Dec 2018.

The only rolling stock firmed up is the TP 10x350s for MAN-Scotland, plus cascades of the current 185s elsewhere on the TP network.
Looks like the DfT will end up specifying the services after all (ie not being devolved).
Still no clarity on how much electric rolling stock will be provided or where it will come from.

Some of the above dates look very optimistic to me (especially the Ordsall Curve, seeing as there is no planning permission yet).
A lot of hard pounding to come, I think.

EDIT:
Sorry - you wanted Dec 2014.
In addition to Man-Scotland, that's just Liverpool-Manchester/Wigan/Warrington, rolling stock not yet agreed.

But i have seen people refer to NR documents on this site with proposed service patterns as an indicitive timetable. These documents have moved or been removed thats all.
