No19 still has its PS aswell,

I saw a PS today, not in service, at about 1200 going from Leven bus station towards Aberhill, also an Olympian on either the 8 or 48 (one bus right behind the other...) down Wellesley Road. Earlier in the day I noticed a packed Solo on the 8 on the 0845 arrival at Kirkcaldy, is this a normal vehicle for this duty? Seems a strange choice of vehicle for a busy service. Thinking abouut it though, I imagine many deckers are on school runs at his time.

The 0845 service 8 at Kirkcaldy is always a Solo as it goes to Burntisland for the day on service B1, usually 47657 as this is narrower than the older Solos.

Be quick if you want to see PS, they will be going soon. Aberhill has 2 X reg Dennis from Ardrossan waiting to replace 20339 and 20341. From memory the fleet numbers are 337??.

Did that not used to be a No7 and operate all the way to Burntisland?

I still can seem that having a dart on the 36. Will a Dart be able to cope covering a PS on 41A school run?

Yes, before the 8 was introduced, service 7 operated from Leven to Burntisland on this journey.

PS on the 36 this afternoon, almost bought a day rider and went for a wee run up to Newburgh. And an Olympian on the 43/44.

In last couple of days, I have seen a number of Arriva London buses heading north through Cumbria on the M6.

Confirmed by Dougie King on Scotlandbus as having been lost in the fire at Ferrymill are Tridents 17105, 17351/74/9 and 17424. Also thought to have perished is 17381 although this is not confirmed at the moment.

the bus station in arbroath is undergoing improvements to the bus stances to accomodate the new fleet/the buses being to close in the stances.

the X7s, 43s and 44s will not serve the bus station from 18th of febuary, all other serves remained unaffected

20330/6/8 have now left the fleet, possibly for scrapping. Very few PS's left, and indeed rare as hens teeth now are the examples native to Fife. Dart 33417 has also gone, scrapped today.

It seem PS from No19 which was on it yesterday has been replaced today.

IF anyone still wont ONE LAST ride the NO36 is the best bet for this week at least.

rite thats it, going PS Hunting to Glenrothes. BTW Which runs generally produce these as aposed to the deckers? Quite enjoy these too mind, the B7TLs are quite nice to travel on.

I was on the 1105 36 from Glenrothes last week, probably my last PS.

thanks mate. Thats one to try. For anyone based nearer Edinburgh theres I believe still one or 2 kicking around on the former MacEwans 101 Service to Bigga. A word of warning though older profiles work the longer runs to Dumfries and some of the Bigga shorts.

I can say Step enter deckers are still poping up on normal service, if people look around. Even stranger Coach has popped up aswell.

I think the PS are set to stay until friday, what happens after that will depend if Glenrothes is happy with its replacement for the 36 and K6/K3 route

I believe X reg darts. which is already for the K3/K6 but the 36, well there might have to rob the 38/39 and swap a "55" man and dart to get something powerful enough for the 36.

Glenrothes is already short as it is, since there using PS, X37/38/39!

Noticed this aswell, a coach on the 8 too.

X4 and 46 this week has gone to Darts, was deckers last week. Where have the Solo's gone from this route? I haven't noticed any Solo's popping up in any unexpected locations on my travels.

There is 36 Suppose to be booked on with PS:

Dep Glenrothes: 07.15, 10.15, 14.45( 36a) 17.25
Dep Perth 08.35, 11.35, 16.15( 36a), 18.45

If the PS is working it will be on one of those runs..
