I found this only a few days ago. if you press shift and F7 together, you go upto 359 Kmh forward, and press CTRL and F7 togeher, you go 359 Kmh backwards. If you don't believe me, try it for yourself!

I think that, the real point is that there are a number of these things, but they aren't all written down in one place... which would be nice.

Unless the software license explicitly disallows it, what you do with someone else's route files is your business. If you then redistributed the result that would probably put you in breach of copyright (copyright law is rather fuzzy on derivative works). Even then, damages in copyright cases are typically awarded based on the sum that the copyright owner lost. If neither side has profited this gets tricky.

Yes it's fully legal as all the routes and trains I've seen allow "personal use" in the copywrite notice, so as long as you don't re-distribute someone else's work without the relevant permissions etc. its your business what you do and no-one else's really.

Unless it strictly says you can-not change or edit anything, but none of the BVE developers are that tight ;) ;) ;)

Even if it says that who's to know if you don't blab it around ;) ;)

NB: Please note children; breaking copywrite laws, is a criminal offense, i am not endorsing this behavior in any way. Just saying, no-one would know if you did as long as it was kept quiet.
