At least 2 Breakdown cranes are booked for the job running as IZ99.
One from Wigan and the other from Bescot.

About time NWR made use of equipment it has and not bring in road based cranes every time something falls off.

They were in platform 3 at Loughborough on Saturday-I took lots of pics!

Not really considering the main lines were open at line speed, so unless you were looking out the window at exactly the right moment you'd miss it.

I travelled past the site today and the latest situation appears to be:

The up slow track is currently removed whilst the formation is rebuilt.
Still two stone wagons remain, awaiting removal from site.
Breakdown train standing on the down slow, mains open for normal running.
Leicester - Lincoln trains using mains between Sileby Jcn and Loughborough, bus from there for Barrow-on-Soar.
