Times have been released for the Deltic run down to Lincoln on Friday.

Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to provide the full times from the staff section of the SRPS site...so I've got them from Real Time Trains instead!

Any members going? I'll be on - look out for me, I'll have a RailUK badge on...along with my uniform.

Many thanks for the times. I will be in York on that day, so will probably aim to watch it go through - a little disappointed it is not going through non-stop though...

I'll have a decent view of 55022 arriving from the ground floor of the science building on the Uni campus. One slight upside of being confined to working in a lab all day I suppose.

Guilty as charged

I'm working during the morning, but a Deltic isn't something to be missed so will try and sneak out for a quick look if I can.

Crew change on the outward trip, booked non-stop on the return...

No guarantees

Does anyone know where the loco and stock will be stored at Lincoln?

I popped through to Colton Junction to see and photograph the outward working. Bang on time, hope the rest of the trip goes well for the loco and passengers.

It was about 10 down when I saw it enter the loop at Lincoln and it was subsequently held for about 5 minutes.

RSG was looking resplendently mucky too I must say. :D

I saw the coaching stock standing on the way in, but the AAD extenstion was in the way of the loco for me.

You should have made an excuse to nip outside. Couldn't mistake that sound for anything else, even through double glazing of the lab I was working in.

I even managed to catch it going over the level crossing on it's way back to Linlithgow, the driver making a nice little racket thanks to the load it had. :D

Sounded wonderful as it left Linlithgow just after 10:30 - I saw nothing, but could hear it for several minutes as ir headed west!

The loco was only on one engine for the return journey - such a fantastic noise, though! We were held for around 25 minutes outside Lea Road due to the service in front requesting an ambulance. The return journey went fine until York - there was a crew change there, but it wasn't in the timetable, so the signaller let a few services in front of us.

We were also looped in Dunbar station, where I ended up bawling "GET AWAY FAE THE TRAIN!" at some drunk idiot trying to open the door. Said idiots then pushed each other towards the train, and one of them raced it out...

Which crossing and which side?

North side of the Brayford Wharf crossing. I could still hear it for a good few minutes afterwards.

Aye it really was, even colder here today when I went to photograph Union of South Africa and Rood Ashton Hall. My camera and the cold don't get on too well... :D

Mine didn't do too badly...got several shots of an idiot on a scooter jumping the lights at High St. The pics are now with the BTP...

Good photos jon91.

I didn't get a chance to take any, as I was working - but given the number of enthusiasts around there should be plenty soon appearing.
