Clue 2: This station is served by 1 TOC, and in the absence of diversions one would not expect to see any other TOC's trains passing through either.

Clue 3: However, the TOC which serves this station also runs, during the normal Monday-Friday off peak, 1tph in each direction which passes through without stopping.

Clue 4: This station is within one change of 4 international airports. In the case of one of those airports, the connecting service is not a train service.

Clue 5: This station is not currently electrified, but electrification is expected to reach it within the next decade.

I'm sure I used a similar set of clues for Wavertree not all that long ago :D

1) This station is not in the NSE area.

Aye, and that was the one when I guessed Huyton, completely overlooked one of the clues and lost a point for it :(
