Excellent Idea craig then we would have a flexible system

...the reason why there is leeway in the system is to cater for unknown scenarios which we didn't think of when the rules were first drafted. If we were to have no leeway, i.e. interpret the rules only as laid down, it would be much more difficult to sort out trouble.

As for the 'MSN threads' and the like, I too would like to see and end to them - but if we act against them, there are accusations of "the mods deleting stuff for no reason".

I was actually referring to some of my other posts which have been deleted without reason. I'm fully aware that some of my posts are designed to provoke a reaction from certain members and I'm not bothered about those being deleted. I do have a problem with posts that are deleted just because a particular staff member doesn't like the contents rather than it actually contravening any of the forum rules...
