Are the Brighton line and Bristol-Exeter Line any good, and do they need any extra DLC? by the look of it they don't but just to make sure.

Bristol - Exeter is all right but out of the two I prefer the Brighton Line and as far as I'm aware they don't need any extra DLC

Just another question, on the Bristol to Exeter line, it says there is a scenario for an AXC, will the AXC HST come with it?

One thing about the Brighton route: a) for some reason, on the 377, the horn doesn't work if you're in the cab view (it did before 2013 came out), and b) you have to purchase the 4CIG add-on separately if you want it.

No, it's optional.

Although don't forget Steam workshop of course, plenty of added fun to be downloaded from there!

Right then guys, advice time: PDL, Settle & Carlisle, or WCML North? Which one to go for?

WCML North though be warned it's a system hog and at the Glasgow end in and around the station/various yards it will get a bit laggy unless you've got a powerful PC.

WCML North comes with the Class 86, which is fun once you learn how to drive it properly (and have fixed the run-down bug which is another problem that really should have been addressed by now).

Just tried the two DLC I had just brought. They are really good, apart from a bit of lag here and there but that can be sorted. The 377 drives really well and the scenarios are good on the Bristol one. Well worth the £22.48 I had just paid for them

Nearly all DLC is now 66% off for 11 or so hours.

For workshop scenarios i suggest three by Chris89 :P or under the Pioneer Scheme (P at the front of the names) By a Chris/Christopher Harrison :P

WTF?? Someone queried about waiting for a larger price drop re DLC on FB last night and RSC's response was that 50% was as cheap as it was going to get! I only just purchased some stuff last night!

GARL is fantastic honestly a nice route that requires a lot of attention.

I got the 444 in the Summer sale but haven't used it much myself, mostly just as a AI train.

Although people have answered, I'd suggest PDL and the Class 455! I find it the most enjoyable train to drive and its pretty nippy too!

There are only a couple of scenarios that come with it, but there are a few on L2B if you look at the Workshop!

Yep, that's what I've heard. I *believe* my PC meets the system requirements, but for a rough benchmark, the game runs very smoothly in normal mode, but is jittery when with TSX to such an extent that TSX stays off on mine.

Ooh you're right. There were some other things that I couldn't find at first, but even a search doesn't bring the 150 up.

Luckily I already have the 150.

One odd thing though. I just bought the 76/77 pack and in one of the Free Roam scenarios it places a couple of 77s in the platforms at Wath Central. The only problem is the lines through the platforms at Wath Central aren't electrified! What use is that? :?

Ditto for the class 66 by the looks of it. I got the 158 standalone in the summer, but it would seem that both are not available any more. No idea where the 150 would be; it wouldn't be in a pack I don't think.

The 150 was removed from Steam due to it requiring assets from RW3 etc.

Since that content is no longer standard with the new verison. It should be back up at somepoint soon.

Although what you have said above about non-TSX mode, what sort of FPS do you get with TSX turned off?
