Routes that I would like to see made

Now I am no developer, in fact I don't play railworks that much anymore because I don't have the time in the day to do so, but I think that there is some great routes that would make for good scenarios and simulations.

Firstly, Crewe to Hollyhead. I like this stretch of line and I think that some good scenarios could be made.

The Merseyrail Network also has many different real life runnings and I think that it would be great to drive on an entire Wirral Line and Northern Line simulator. I also think the PEP units are brilliant.

Manchester Airport to Liverpool Lime St through Piccadilly. This has both rural and urban environments and utilises a vast array of rolling stock. Also the approach to Lime st and piccadilly would be good to drive on.

Does anybody else have any suggestions or comments about routes they would like to see developed?

I think if you are doing Manchester Airport to Liverpool you should probably do the CLC and Chat Moss routes, including the lines to Warrington (Bank Quay and Arpley) and Wigan (North Western/Wallgate), to make it more interesting.

I wouldn't mind Bedford-Brighton/Sutton (including Moorgate)

Kings Cross to Peterborough including Hertford Loop Line and maybe even the line as far as Cambridge. It could give you long distance services (I'm thinking it's time for 91+Mk4s to be modelled), as well as commuter services and maybe some freight (there is stuff at Peterborough but I'm not sure if that comes from the Ely direction or further south).

Just thought i'd mention that the Manchester Airport/Liverpool Lime Street is already currently a WIP route, which as far as i'm aware has got from Airport to Piccadilly and nearly Oxford road complete

I'd quite like to see the fictional BVE "Network West Midlands" mainline section made into a RW route

Something on Facebook called LP Simulations

Ah, they are LS Simulations....

The same LS Simulations that are showing all of their work in progress, claiming that they have spent so many hours creating their models when the models are nothing more than rip offs straight from the Sketchup Warehouse, no work was involved whatsoever.

Also the same LS Simulations that have been taking items from other people and uploading them, claiming them as their own work.

Newcastle to Edinburgh is certainly in the pipeline, I had created a large portion of it but am no longer involved. Here are some of the shots I did show whilst working on the project.

Now, in my spare time and planned for after the full release of Cresston V4, I am working on much of the North-East area.

I would love to help, in some way, with that (what with it being my local area!) unfortunately I have no skills in the route creation area :(

Personally I'd like to see the Merseyrail Wirral Line as well as the Shrewsbury-Wolerhampton line, some good scenarios there.

Also the Birmingham to Bristol line.

I've gotta say, I wouldn't mind seeing some of the valley lines network made.

Either just a section (i.e. North of Pontypridd or West of Central) or all of it as it is now (not necessarily including Maesteg/Ebbw Vale branches)

I'd love to see the Aire valley Leeds-Skipton/Bradford/Ilkley and Doncaster both via Wakefield and Hambleton.
Plenty of routes and combinations Emu's and Dmu's to drive using units and even some Interccity work EastCoast services Doncaster - Skipton, Leeds and Bradforrd.

Love to see the Wherry and Bittern Lines made, and maybe the extension to Holt from Sheringham, then i could practice for the NOR :D

Ok, London Underground routes (all routes) would also be nice...

I have seen people try them, certainly for freeware but with limited success. However, you won't see anything official/payware on that front simply because there is a simulator dedicated to that part of the genre that does the job perfectly well.

I read that the game engine can't actually handle underground routes, which is why there aren't any.

Well yeah, it can providing the correct assets are built. It's even more plausible since TS2013 with the newer shaders and tools. It's just that WOS is dedicated to the sole job of this type of thing and therefore isn't viable from a commercial perspective.

When I said that freeware providers had tried with limited success, it wasn't done because it couldn't be, it's just that many freeware projects end up without completion.
