Would be good if at the diesel gala's if some mainline shuttles ran, like what happened at the steam gala afew years ago. I know its cost, but something different and sure it would pull the visitors in.

I know. And the KWVR do a top job organising what ever they come up with. Never been dissapointed once with My Home Preserved line gala. Always a good show.

Friday was excellent, though went a tad pear shaped later in the day! The demo freight kinda got in the way, but hey, who's counting? The two Lanky 0-6-0s: quite superb together, to say nought about the fantastic Southern and lanky stock...quite beautiful.
Well done to all concerned on the first day...get along if you can tomorrow, enough for all: great atmosphere.
