I don't believe there are any set diagrams, certainly not for all services, hence it being reported in the manner it was on Facebook. If it is an 11-car set, then yes, both F and U will be unreserved alongside E.

Yes there are set diagrams - every service will be diagrammed a specific train type. Whether the correct train type or length is rostered is another matter. Many many hours of work has gone into the planning of the 11-car implementation.

I'll be using a mega ticket (possibly for the last time ) so I like to avoid coaches with reservations in order to get to an available seat as quickly as possible and settle in for the journey. Good to know I might have a couple more to choose from.

since the 11 cars were in i've noticed VT on Sat/ Sun haven't been as crowded, but still don't see many cheap tickets!- i'm using London Midland a lot at the moment, cheap, yes longer but first class tickets are cheaper, (o.k. you get a seat and a plug socket) but for 11 quid London to Stoke-On-Trent is a bargain!

They're unlikely to offer any more cheap Advances because the additional two coaches are unreserved anyway. In any instance, as mentioned in this thread, there is no guarantee that a train booked for a 390/1 will actually be worked by one anyway.

That might be so, but Liverpool services seem totally random to me from week to week.
