37's at Darlington today

When I visited Darlington today to take my first pictures I was informed that I had just missed a pair of 37's. Does anyone know what they were doing there? Was it a tour or a movement and what were the numbers?

1Z19 0847 Derby - Newcastle - Derby (1647) via Sheffield and York both ways. Locos were 37607 and 37608.

Many thanks for that, must have gone past twice although the lad I spoke to said I had just missed it southbound by about 3-4 minutes. Typical, would have been a nice set of shots for my first outing.

Biggest ever working I've seen by suprise would have to have been 37425/67005/59206/37419 at Ealing back in December 2005.

I saw that pair at NCL about midday. Then later on, the NMT rolled into the platform, so two Serco trains within the hour!

There'll be a few test trains out tomorrow - 37602 showing on exam at Gresty Bridge and 610 is at Kingmoor. All of the other blue 37/6s are at Derby for various test trains!
