Off topic but yesterday I noticed that in one of the bay platforms of Llandudno Junction DVT 82307 and a class 67 locomotive, 67002, were there. The DVT was facing the bay and he loco was facing out onto the main line. They were coupled up and both were in the arriva trains Wales livery. I now that arriva plans to use the mark 3 dvts and coaches on its premier service but i thought that 82307 was on hire to chiltern. Any idea why and what they were doing?

What time was this, perhaps a problem, as the DVT for training always faces the direction of travel.

and Mid - The milkman in Caersws is Pedro the Milk though if you wanted tyres in Llanidloes about 15 years ago you had to got to Bryn the Sailor!

It all rolls back, In Mold now there is Jones the Spiv, when I lived in Rhyl there was a local undertaker known as Jones the Body, a long gone Rhyl United coach driver known as JD (Jack Death), and that famous joke of an English couple looking for a loo at Bala station while awaiting the train to Blaenau Ffestiniog in the 30s

"Male passenger to station porter" is there a urinal around here
"Porter to Passenger" I know Hugh the spy,Hugh the coal,Hugh the horses, and Hugh the garage, sorry I never heard of Hugh rinal.

better stop there.

There was the plumber from Barry who only had teeth left in the front of his mouth. He was known as "Dai Central Eating".
