Blue Pullman Stock

Hey All

Cotswold Rail 31 dragged the Blue Pullman past Stroud, anyone know if its staying in Gloucester?

Cotswold Rail have acquired the Blue Pullman set from FM Rail. It will operate under the name The Blue Pullman Train Co. Limited. I'm not sure offhand if Cotswold have acquired the blue 47's as well. Gloucester is where Cotswold Rail are based.

Looks as though the CR Blue Pullman is coming to Poole on Wednesday afternoon to be fed and watered!!!
Before any of you ask thats all the info I have, I dont know times or what motive power is unvolved.

Could well be the case, as Victa have also got several coaches from the Blue Pullman rake. Also, Cotswold haven't acquired HRT's 'Blue Pullman' tour programme.

It wasn't said Cotswold had 'acquired' HRT's 'Blue Pullman' tour programme, it was said Cotswold Rail had set up their own company to operate the train, for which they have brought the 'Blue Pullman' stock for. There is a difference. Also, Victa havn't acquired any stock, they've merely taken over the operational side of things. The stock, inc. coaches & locos, are in the hands of the administrators, acting on behalf of FM Rail, with Cotswold Rail already buying some of the locos, inc. the Blue Pullman stock. Hope that makes sense.

I wasn't saying that you had said that CR had acquired the HRT programme - apologies if you thought otherwise. I was just pointing it out, as from conversations I've had with one or two people, they seemed to be under the impression this was the case!

According to Victa last week, they have got 4 coaches from FM's former Blue Pullman rake. CR have taken 8 coaches (7xFO and the RBR) - it will be interesting to see how they manage without the RK, I'm not convinced Cotswold's Mk 3 RFO (which was mentioned in one publicaton as a possible replacement) has the ability to do full dining for several carriages. It's quite possible that both companies could add vehicles to their rakes and then, as Tom said, we will end up with two Blue Pullmans!
