Periscopes in the drivers cabs to look upstairs,its all cctv now.
47019,47021 have gone to kendal and 16708/9 have gone to either lillyhall or carlisle and E400 PX12 DLV is now sporting the fleetnumber 10014.

17017 needs to go back somewhere flat and easy. Would be nice if CE got another 2005 Trident off ME toward the end of th year or more then one actually but I doubt it somehow.

I bet the Lillyhall fitters were delighted when that shed moved to Carlisle!! Was it as bad at Morecambe?

From what I remember no it wasn't but a majority of the time it ran flat routes although Preston runs did begin to tire the S regs out before the Scand arrived. Also it wasn't as noticeable when it went out of service and it had a lot more deckers to cover for it so wasn't worked to death!
22121 was the vehicle of choice for the bike bus today. It was just over 5 minutes late into Keswick from Kendal, and 10 minutes late into Keswick from Whinlatter despite the 9 minute turnaround time. It was running empty too, although I think it brought 1 or 2 people in from Windermere end. A lot of people at Keswick seemed interested in it, and were looking through the old version of the Lakes connection magazine that they'd just picked up off a bus, and obviously couldn't find anything in there about it.

It might happen yet as word is the buses that are rumoured to be going from ME are the S reg and 05 plate tridents when the E400s come back from london.
20802 should have been picked today by wrights travel.

They seemed to cope on the 2/2a though, but as you say a little flat-out on the Prestons. I was surprised they un-branded them and put the 05/55 tridents on the 2s, as the S regs would be more suited to town work.
Why send one of them up there though? Since Morecambe still has some S regs tridents, wouldn't it make more sense to keep that one here with it's chums and send a 2005 trident north? Since Morecambe's Scanias took over the Prestons, it's mostly town-based services apart from the 755s and Backpools, and the remaining S regs don't seem to work on those normally, so it wouldn't be an issue?

The E300s go on 5s occasionally depending on the drivers, most times its either a MAN,solo or a versa.

It was up for the RVPT running day.
Yes. The X61 couldn't make money with coaches, it made even less when it moved to Chorley and went to DDs on a slightly reduced frequency.
The X25 was the last chance to save the route with a much reduced frequency, operating only at peak times. Sadly it hasn't worked.

I noticed that, I thought it seemed a bit odd when 20945 was sitting empty in Kendal bus station at the same time... I don't recall 20945 being in passenger service since it moved to kendal, seems to either be on staff shuttle or in Windermere Station.

20945 was heading to windermere with a spare driver coming of town service to swapped with 20908 that was wanted in garage.
The lunch time trip on 530 is alloctated a B10 only school buses are double deck allocation.

Competition with X4/5 then, all depends on what they use but to be be honest the Profiles are practically step entrance anyway so anything LF will give Reays the advantage...

R50 is an interesting number? I guess 50 comes from X50 but R??
I hope reays use something low floor so that the route become easy access its about time Reays did something useful in Penrith!
