No...Gowerton South was a different station and was the station after Gower Road.

We move to North-West England for the next journey....

This quiz is number 46 so far...(Hint : Not all lines have closed stations)

The journey starts at the open station of Blackburn
It follows the line of the Lancashire Union Railway
It then follows the line of the Bolton and Preston Railway
It then follows the line of the Liverpool and Bury Railway
It then follows the line of the East Lancashire Railway (Do not confuse this with another line)
It then follows the line of Manchester and Leeds Railway
It then follows the line of the LYR Oldham Loop Line (Use the ORIGINAL station names)
It then follows the line of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway
The journey ends at the open station of Newton le Willows

The first closed station on this journey is Feniscowles

Unfortunately, this station is on the other side of Chorley on the Lancashire Union Railway and the quiz preamble does mention the next line being the Bolton and Preston Railway, where Chorley saw services from both lines.

Don't forget the "hint" that I posted on this quiz saying that not all these lines had closed stations ( but these lines need mention making of them to enable a continous journey to be made).
