Manchester-York without extension to hull doesn't really make much sense as far as electrification goes, especially with the knock on removal of many of the remaining diesel trains into KGX.

I can see the argument for Bradford-Selby, would it damage capacity and performance at Leeds though?

Conversely would it affect platforms at Leeds to have more terminating services, if Selby-Leeds was made a shuttle service?
Couldn't the current Man Victoria-Selby service continue as is, with EMUs?
