The final closed station on this journey is...

Radipole Halt.....Opened in 1905 and closed in 1984

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Once again, I have prepared yet another new leg (that I mislaid and it has only just come to light), which has more conjoining railways than any of the other previous journeys that I have devised.......

The journey starts at the open station of Matlock
It does NOT include any stations re-opened near there by Peak Rail)
It follows the line of the Manchester, Buxton, Matlock and Midland Junction Rail
It then follows the route (for a short time) of the Hope Valley line
It then follows the route of the Stockport and Woodley Junction Railway
It then follows the route of the Stockport, Timperley and Altrincham Junction Railway
It then follows the route of the Warrington and Altrincham Junction Railway
It then follows the route of the St Helens and Runcorn Gap Railway
It then follows the line of the 1864 extension to the above-named railway
The journey ends at the open station of Liverpool Lime Street

The first closed station is Rowsley
