Yet another problem with the new NRE website

I thought I'd try and find the cost of a 7 day season for a journey I'm likely to make a few times in a week.

I tried using the season ticket calculator on my mobile phone. On the face of it, this appears where you would expect it.

However, as soon as you enter your origin and destination, the whole thing becomes obscured by a message telling me that "flexi-tickets aren't available for all journeys". Fine, but I don't want a flexi-season and it won't allow me to complete the calculator.

Is there anything this wretched site can actually do ?

Just use Trainline. Enquiries are free (technically costs them a bit of money I guess) and the website is much better.

The new NRE isn't worth using.

I've managed to stop using the NRE site for almost everything now. If that was the purpose of the redesign then they've succeeded!

The one thing I can't find anywhere else is an aggregated list of network disruptions and/or engineering work - the UI has gone significantly backwards on the new site, along with everything else, but at least the information is still there. Is there another good place to find that?

I have yet to find a station where the details of facilities, etc. on NRE are correct! The most recent I've looked at was Bedwyn, where I am told there are no ticket office windows, but there are induction loops, and that there are no taxis but there are accessible taxis!

it is carp... LLJ ststion map doesn't have rear entrance and recent car park, doesn't say which is main entrance with near-by bus stops (one even marked as "Platform 5 - although I think it is nearest pfm 1!):

Where exactly is it showing a rear entrance? Also the bus stop is called platform 5 and is signed as such?

it doesn't (- but I now realise I have confused it with Bangor, so there isn't one! Sorry about that - but the Bangor map doesn't show it either )

However I am sure the LLJ forecourt bus stop was signed (or on the departure board) as platform 5 when we went from it a couple of months ago -and I think NRE should show the Bangor bus stop on Holyhead Rd too - the connection for Caernarfon.
Next pic shows Bangor, whicc does have a rear entrance and car park beyond pfm 2 - but no through lines any more!

In a number of cases (these included), the maps date back to when they were first added to NRE in around 2008. There were associated photos taken of key features taken at the time too, but they were only 640x480 if memory serves and haven't survived the transition to the new site.

The loss of the photos has rendered the station maps utterly useless, and I cannot comprehend why anyone would remove such a useful feature. I find that Google maps is generally more useful now.

Indeed, and I have complained most recently to GWR - they just said they take my concerns seriously, blah, blah. No-one has checked anything, it seems, and the number of errors throughout the network is scandalous.
