Why do people from the Sheffield area fly from Luton?

Landed last week into EMA at 2305 through immigration, bags collected walked to the car and on the M1 by 2335. You don't get that elsewhere.

I do at Luton, routinely.

Land around 2230, through immigration, bag collected, walk to the car, on the M1 and back home in St Albans by 2310.

Think Leo Jones did work for easyJet directly. He did a stint at Jet2 also but where he is now I have no idea.

Obviously I don't know the specifics of their contracts.

For Leo Jones, he became a regional manager so would obviously be directly employed by easyjet in that case.

But for majority of easyjet's history people at supervisor level have been not directly employed by easyjet, but by their ground agents. Note I wrote supervisor level. Duty manager/ base manager has always been a directly employed role.

Jane Bolton herself was shown multiple times in Reed uniform. Nowardays, they would be employed by DHL (easyjet's handling agent at Luton). Their uniform is irrelevant and it's quite possible to wear a easyjet uniform and work for Swissport/ DHL et al.

It's also possible for a time some of them were directly employed.
