First let me say this is not a dig at all those very talented folk out there who produce excellent Models & those who give extra variety by re-skinning the same , but;I just wonder why are Class 47's so Prone to "Bounding Box Problems"

This has always puzzled me & the fact that it is so apparent , I would imagine that this would now be made a thing of the past when Re skins are done, but my findings have proved different .

Don't get me wrong I love the Duffs they are diesel's answer to the Black 5 but because of the "Bounding Box Problem"
I rarely ever use them in my activity writing,as they are a real pain in the ass , I would say that a little bit of forethought would eliminate this problem especially when re-skinning.

Would have thought a change in the loco's coding would fix this?
Or maybee not?

Exactly ,because once you know how to fix the problem , its easy even for a novice like me , when It is such a notorious problem with this class more than any other I wonder why it is still so prevalent .

...because most reskinners perhaps don't bother changing the bounding box? It also requires more permissions (so may be slightly more difficult) to include a modified .eng file.

Surely a repair could not be seen as an infringement , I know if it was mine I would have no problems
