Which tramways have you used?

Lynton and Saltburn cliff railways, Zagreb and Stockholm trams

Scarborough has two surviving cliff tramways, the Scarborough Spa Cliff Lift and the Central Tramway. Both serve the south bay.

There is a third serving the south bay which is now decommissioned; both cars have been moved to the top of the incline and are now used as a cafe, if memory serves. I believe at some point in history there was also a fourth and possibly a fifth, serving the north bay.

I forgot about the Spa one. It was the Central and South ones I'd used. Also the North Cliff lift, prior to its closure. We used to stay at a hotel in the North Bay and used that lift to access the beach etc.

Sheffield to Rotherham tram train should have opened the door for most cities to have a tram network.

Museums: Beamish and Seaton, possibly one of the 1980s garden festivals?

Funiculars: Aberystwyth, Babbacombe, Barcelona, Corris (Centre for Alternative Technology), Hastings, Hong Kong, Istanbul, Lynmouth, Montserrat, Paris, Penang

The DLR definitely shouldn’t be on this list
