So the thread linked below has sparked a bit of debate on passenger flows to/from London when the ECML is closed south of St Neots. For LNER there were a lot of buses shuttling between there and Bedford to continue journeys with most any-route tickets accepted by EMR, however LUMO connected their services at Peterborough with buses to Kings Cross. Hull Trains did run into London albeit down the MML and Grand Central seemed to have not run anything. There were also a few returns from Peterborough to Liverpool Street courtesy of West Coast Railway Company, which the below thread focuses on

Some suggested that a handful of services could divert to Cambridge where Greater Anglia could then take them into Liverpool Street. However I’d like to expand on that and hear your thoughts on what could be done differently, where passengers could be directed instead or where services could divert
