No, Chiltern trains via Amersham run fast from Marylebone to Harrow, then fast from Harrow to Rickmansworth.

I can't remember personally but I agree that the presence of fast platforms probably isn't without reason.

Those services only skip one station, Moor Park, and no Chiltern services have ever called there.

London Underground only since early 1990s when Network South East stopped serving Moor Park station. Chiltern started up a bit later, in 1996, so what @CR165022 says is essentially correct.

Chiltern (Line/Railways) services ceased calling at Moor Park regularly in 1993. 'Never' is patently untrue.

It has happened (albeit on an unscheduled basis) sporadically since then. I have both boarded and alighted a Chiltern service at Moor Park.

During the peak there are a number of Chiltern services that run non-stop between Marylebone and Great Missenden, or Amersham and Marylebone.
