Can anybody recognise the rusty boiler about midway down the page?

It seems to have a hinged chimney and a strange dome.

Based on what I've read of Gavin Maxwell's attempts to start a commercial shark fishery at Soay I'd expect that to be a marine boiler.
Getting a steam loco boiler to a small island just off Skye would probably not have occurred to him. At the time, there would have been plenty of old 'Puffers' going to the breakers yards and that boiler looks about the right size.
