Please can I have some advice on best way to do the above return trip.

Leave Weymouth on the 1203 on Sat 1/2/25
Stop in Woking for an hour to drop bags off.
Proceed to O2
Return from O2 to Woking around 2200-2230
Leave Woking on 2/2/25 back to Weymouth after 1230

Happy to have Advance between Weymouth and Woking but flexible to the O2 and back

2 passengers with a Veterans Railcard.

Many thanks in advance.

At a first stab, you each need an Evening Out ticket to Woking at £42.60 (returning next day) and another to Waterloo at £10.85 plus Oyster/contactless OR a Travelcard at £15.35.

However, you can save if you are up for split ticketing and Advances - have a look at our website.

The outboundary Travelcard beats Contactless for the Veterans Railcard holder (I wasn't clear if that's both passengers, or just one?)

Ticket to London Terminals plus Oyster PAYG to North Greenwich would be marginally cheaper for the Veterans Railcard holder if the Railcard discount is applied to the Oyster card.

If willing to go via Clapham Junction and Canada Water you can get an Evening Out return from Woking to Clapham Junction for £8.05. It's then another £1.80 on PAYG (£1.15 on Oyster with a Railcard discount set) to go from Clapham Junction to North Greenwich via Canada Water. So £11.35 in all, going that way.

You mean a Super Off Peak Return.
Sorry, yes - whose restriction code is UL Evening Out :)

Pretty tedious - and coming back that way at 2230 is a recipe for getting stranded.
