West Mids nnetwork day tripper question

[D7666]

Possibly silly question but I can't find an answer.

Next week one day the most appropriate day ticket for my needs appears to be this

Ticketing

Search for bus, train & tram tickets around the West Midlands

ticketsearch.tfwm.org.uk

It has the right rail and tram validity - and I not interested in buses.

But. I am based in Kidderminster. Outside the TFWM area.

Can you actually BUY this ticket on the day at Kidderminster rail station, or is it only valid for travel to Kidderminster once you have already bought one inside the TFWM area ?

is no help either on the same question; it says where it is valid, but not if there are limits on non TFWM buying.

Enquiry of TWFM merely got the answer 'buy from rail station' without further qualification.

I imagine it’s something that Kidderminster would do pretty often so shouldn’t have any issues with this.

It's certainly possible to buy the Day Tripper from outside the area.

I've bought them at Epsom in the past.
