If you haven’t committed any travel fraud, then you know honestly you don’t owe them that money.

‘Burden of proof’ remains on them - this is a fishing exercise and providing your home address and irregular travel is by no way evidence nor proof.

If you haven’t committed travel fraud, ignore it, if you have committed travel fraud, try to minimise the amount by suggesting where you can provide evidence for.

Even if you have, there’s nothing to gain from responding to them. If they have evidence then they’ll send you a notice of intention to prosecute, at which point you can generally settle for exactly the same amount as they’ll ask for if you reply. If they don’t have evidence, which they won’t because they can’t be bothered, they will take no further action.
