Broken down freight train now blocking the line between Dumbarton and Dalmuir.

The same culprit from.yesterday?

No it is the loco that was removed from the Down Fort William sleeper at Dumbarton this morning after having a problem. It has failed again while being returned to Polmadie depot. The incident yesterday is totally separate from the one today.

Which is not good, but part of the reason is the tiny number of trains Caledonian Sleepers run compared to other operators; 1 PPM failure say out of a total of 10 trains operated has a massive effect on overall PPM! And recovering from incidents such as the one described here can be a complicated and protracted affair.

I know. Always makes me chuckle to see 7 trains arrived daily compared to others with several thousand.
