Today, Southern services were running through West Croydon station without stopping . According to Southern's website, this was because of 'London Underground strike action means some stations that Great Northern, Southern and Thameslink call at will be closed', which is a bit odd because West Croydon is not an Underground station, and the Overgound (TfL) services were running. Indeed, on this morning's Southern train, the driver mentioned suggested off at Norwood Junction and taking an Overgrounf train to West Croydon. Are the station staff at West Croydon RMT members? If so, who opened the station for Overground passengers?
