Weird boxes on posts along Cleethorpes P3

just wondering if anyone knew what these were and why they exist, because of these the old P4 road can't be used.

I'm sure if they wanted to reactivate P4, they could move them. It's not like they've dug a massive hole or built a supermarket on it.

You can see a walkway there - there are almost certainly lights for drivers

It looks like there is some equipment cabinets in the way - they are likely to be a much more costly thing to remove if the track did need to be reinstated

Platform 4 has been reinstated though? In fact doesn't your second picture have the work going on in the background?

I'm talking about the OLD platform 4, the modern platform 4 is actually the old platform 5.
So the diagram is: |1 2|P|3 X|P|5 6|P
X is the old P4, 5 is the new "p4"

Definately not! The data links and testing that woudl be needed would be large - this would never get done!
