What I genuinely don't understand is how changing the livery of a train or signs will negatively impact neurodivergent and disabled people. Can you elaborate?
Some people find routine really important and find it very difficult to deal with anything that’s changed from their expectation, to such an extent that it affects their usual level of functioning.

Unfortunately though, and I say this as a neurodivergent person myself having to deal with the challenges of ADHD on a daily basis, rebranding exercises and subsequent changes are a part of life. Rebrandings and revamps cannot be banned purely because some people struggle with change, unfortunate as it is for those affected.

They should at least warn of the change very early on. Y'know, news headlines about how "THE WATERLOO & CITY LINE WILL BE FLOODED WITH CUSTARD, PAINTED PINK AND WE ARE RENAMING BANK TO 'POOPSHART LANE'" 3 months before it happens.

It was relatively quick, but it was months rather than weeks.

The issue with the Dangleway was simply that they didn't have a replacement sponsor when the Emirates contract came to an end. And it wasn't from the lack of effort on TfL's part to find a new one.

So they had to rebrand it twice- once to get rid of the Emirates branding and then, separately, to put the IFS Cloud branding in place.
When they got rid of the Emirates brand, was it completely blank or did they use other, short term sponsorships?

Online research tells me Pokémon's sponsored it for a week but what about the rest of the time..?

I'm surprised the Trams can't have ad vinyls like they do with the buses.
They have had quite a lot

Simpsons movie tram being my favourite, their was a Turkish Airlines one about 5 years ago, one for some solicitor firm, the only one surviving i think is the Croydon BID one

As someone with a disability myself and a parent of a neurodivergent child, I fully agree with everything you've said here.

When organisations do something to be more inclusive for people with disabilities or neurodivergent people, from experience, the vast majority of times it's an empty PR stunt with very little substance behind it.
