Today I did Ramsgate to Lewisham and return
Various route options -I chose via London Bridge. I had an anytime ticket but also an itinerary (that’s the way to buy on SE website). I went on the itinerary trains going but was earlier coming back than intended. Mainly because it dawned on me that it was half term!
It went fine. The train coming back was very full from London Bridge but I got a seat okay
My question is coming back could I have gone past London Bridge on the return from Lewisham - to Waterloo East or Charing X to have a better chance of a seat on the train down to Ramsgate
