Valid Routes, Beaconsfield To Coventry

I'm travelling from Beaconsfield (BCF) to Coventry (COV) on Thursday 24th September. I've purchased an Off Peak return (SVR) for £45.10, routed via High Wycombe. The ticket has a restriction code WZ, which means no restrictions on the outward journey, so I can get any train from Beaconsfield.

I've checked the Roting Guide, and this suggests I can travel on routes as per map SM.

The obvious, and shortest route would be Beaconsfield - Leamington Spa, then change onto a service to Coventry.

However map SM shows travel into Birmingham Moor Street, then across to New Street and onwards to Coventry.

Can somebody please confirm if travel via Birmingham is allowed ?

Many thanks.

Map SM does not show a continuous route via Birmingham, no.
You are interpreting it over-enthusiastically.
The map shows you can only go as far as Tyseley inbound to Birmingham.

Thanks for the clarification. I didn't zoom in enough !

Looks like I'll be changing at Leamington Spa then :)
