Urbos 3 & Urbos 100 Differences

The newer batch of West Midlands Metro Urbos trams, the Urbos 100, appear to have a different external PIS to the Urbos 3, and the WMM logo is above the windows on the 100s whereas it’s below them on the 3. The interior is done up in the appropriate colours on the 100 too.

Apart from these observations of cosmetics, are there any actual differences or improvements to an Urbos 100? Or have they simply decided to give an exactly identical second batch of Urbos 3 a new name?

The Urbos 100 is an Urbos 3.
3 denotes the generation which follows the Urbos 2, and 100 denotes that the vehicle is 100 % low-floor.

The Urbos 3 generation has two variants: Urbos 70 and Urbos 100, with 70 % and 100 % low floor respectively.

All Birmingham trams are Urbos 100 models from the Urbos 3 family.

I think it's just the exterior moulding shape around the nose and doors. The base design is identical AFAIK. They have the same traction package, same mass and same capacity.

I.e. I can't see anything different in the specs except the external aesthetics.
