I notice recently that UK Railtours now uses the Hertfordshire Railtours name in correspondence.

It is my understanding that HR was bought by 'someone' and effectively closed and Mr Farrow set up UKR, going back to what he was doing before, but by necessity using a new name. Assuming this is approximately true, what's the story now? Has UKR purchased the HR name? Is someone getting forgetful and using the HR name by mistake?

They now produce two brochures, the UK Railtours are mainly upmarket dining trips using the Northern Belle Pullman coaches, while the HRT name has been reintroduced for the traditional types of trip.

Indeed, I have received both brochures this week and they clearly state"UK Railtours and Hertfordshire Railtours are trading names of JM and CE Farrow" and then goes on to give details of the registered address.

Ah, thanks. Presumably they have purchased the rights to the HR name, or its previous claim has expired, or something.
